why they shouldn't mic britney

Britney Spears performs in Manchester as a part of her ongoing Circus tour in UK on 17th June 2009.
Britney blunder ... singer on stage in Manchester prior to venue mix up

IT'S the easiest way for a pop star to get on the wrong side of loyal fans - and, oops, BRITNEY SPEARS has done it again.

Brit moved her UK Circus tour to Manchester's MEN Arena on Wednesday - but during track Do Somethin' she hollered: "What's up LONDON!" Oh dear.
It's hardly surprising the clanger didn't go down well with the northern crowd who had paid hard-earned cash to see the miming star.
But it's not Britney's first foray into audience alienation.
At a show in San Jose, California, in April she asked: "What's up Sacramento?"
It's a shameful slip-up - but Brit's not alone.
A few years ago I went to see heavy metal lords IRON MAIDEN in Gothenburg in Sweden and one band member screamed: "Good evening Stockholm!"
I'll let them off though as they don't lip-sync their way through gigs.
